General Dosage

Safety & Contraindications

Colchicine can kill. Human deaths recorded, mistaking the bulbs for onions. Symptoms include tingling and numbness of the lips, mucous membrane irritation, severe vomiting, diarrhea, colic, hypotension, convulsions, and respiratory failure. Poison. Larger doses toxic, possibly lethal; do not take.
