Safety & Contraindications
Not covered. While flower buds are considered edible, the roots of daylilies are generally considered toxic and should not be ingested. Overdoses may cause urinary incontinence, respiratory arrest, dilated pupils, and even blindness. Daylily root is not an “herb for self medication”.
