General Dosage

2–4 g herb as tea 3 ×/day; 1 g/cup tea; 1–2 g single dose; 3–6 g/day; 6 g/day; 2–4 ml 3 ×/day; 1–2 g extract.

Class 1, 2b. “In view of the lack of toxicity data, use of centaury during pregnancy and lactation is best avoided ... excessive use should be avoided”. Sources report contraindication of GI ulcer. None reported.
