General Dosage

2–4 g herb, or in tea, 3 ×/day; 1–3 ml liquid herbal extract 3 ×/day; 1–2 ml herbal tincture 3 ×/day.

Safety & Contraindications

Class 1. Because it is reputed to affect the menstrual cycle, its use in pregnancy and lactation is to be avoided. Excessive use should be avoided in view of the limited toxicity data.
